Constructed using found sheet metal, each piece is unique and one of a kind. Anthony spends hours sourcing metal scraps from salvage yards, automotive wreckers, and the side of the road. With endless possibilities, its easy to get lost in the process of finding unique colors, textures and finishes from the past.
After the materials are collected he sorts them by color. This allows him to pick and choose bits and pieces as the elements come together. The spontaneity of assembling, and the turnover of materials creates a studio environment that keeps the process fresh, letting each piece tell its own story.
Anthony sources, designs, cuts, hammers, rivets, welds and finishes each piece by hand in his California studio.
