I just returned home after a week in the Rockies.  I had planned on flying home from Denver after the festival in Des Moines, but mechanical issues with the plane resulted in a delay and finally a cancellation of the entire flight.  I stayed with a favorite artist and her family in Golden that night, and then headed to Crested Butte.  I had never been over Cottonwood Pass.  The clouds, narrow road, and elevation, all culminated in 30 miles of meandering wonder.  The two days in CB were filled with meals out on the deck, a killer hike, and good conversation.  Thanks to Alison, Tim and Oliver for having me.
I ended my time in CO with a show in Cherry Creek.  Thank you to all of the people that stopped to say hello and show their support for me and my work.  We all lucked out with decent weather, and the festival was a success.  Much love to Briana, Abby, Emily, Ollie and Adam for keeping me well fed and hugged.  Now I have to get back into the studio to finish pieces for Art in the Pearl.
